Inspect the mating parts
Knuckle bore, hub register and axle splines get cleaned and checked before anything goes together. A worn bore or corroded register will take out a new bearing on the same timeline as the old one.

Seat it, don't drive it
Draw hub and bearing assemblies in with a press or the correct puller. Hammer blows through the outer race brinell the bearing surfaces, and the damage doesn't show up until the customer is back.

Torque at ride height
Bushed suspension fasteners get their final torque with the suspension loaded, not hanging on the lift. Tightened at full droop, the bushing is pre-wound and tears early.

Align and verify
Anything that changes steering or suspension geometry gets an alignment before the car leaves. Then road test at the speed the complaint occurs, not just around the lot.
